Using the GeForce performance overlay, I can see 70% CPU usage and 50%-60% GPU usage. I am averaging 60-80 frames when a buddy has similar specs and averages 110. Set up an in game overlay with all of the needed info like FPS, CPU Utilization, GPU Utilization, CPU and GPU Temperatures. If your CPU is running at a high temp like 80 Degrees C or around 176 Degrees F then you need to replace your CPU cooler. Let me know what happens and have a good day!.
This is my first gaming pc and Im completely lost. I'm experiencing low (Around 30%) CPU and GPU usage in every game I've tried and having horrible frame rate (Around 15-25FPS) Temps are under 50 degrees. I've turned power settings in windows to maximum performance and set the Nvidia as the preferred card in the NVIDIA control panel.

DoctorSatan-1292 August 13, 2021, 6:49pm #1. While playing D2R, I've noticed my GPU temp skyrocketed from average 64C degree (max) from playing WoW, BF1, New World and Assassins Creed: Valhalla on hours on end to a whopping 76C degree with Custom LOW and MEDIUM settings for D2R for only 30 minutes of gameplay. CPU Utilization: 100%!!! wow!. Right-click on the GPU and select Update driver in the drop-down menu. Select Search automatically for drivers. The drivers will automatically be installed. On Windows 11, do the same thing by search for the Device Manager in the search bar. Like before, click on Display adapters and right-click on a graphics cards. Select Update drivers.
I have the G75 Raider 10SE laptop w/Nvidia GeForce RTX2060, GPU Usage always indicates 0 on the Monitor screen? I re-installed MSI Dragon Center from Microsoft Center, noticing that under Support MSI model, G75 Raider 10SE is not on the list?.
If you have 100% CPU usage in games and low GPU usage i.e. (well below 99%) then you have a CPU bottleneck, and you need to get a better and more powerful processor for your gaming PC. For an ideal situation, your CPU usage should remain in the 60% to 80% range (up to 90%), and GPU usage at 99% or 100%.
